Forum Change

To keep things together for the project, I have switched the forum over to the one that Digit made. There are a couple of reasons why I canged, one is that his forum is a lot nicer and that most people have already posted there and registered there. In addition, it is being speculated that the game’s name may end up being Kartoon, although I am somewhat partial to KarToon or KartToon. So that is still an area of debate.

Major Contributors

For those of you who end up being major contributors to the project. I will add a link of their personal site (must be blender related) to the forum. Major contributors include those that acutally help out with the project doing some lead work. This could include working on scripting, modeling many items for tracks, or just help with keeping things organized and kept track of. This does not include, however, those people that quickly throw together a vechicle and call it good. For those of you that end up getting the chance to have their site linked here, I will pm you through the forums to let you know that you have recieved the privlege, and will then wait for a response pm and henceforth post the link. This does not mean that once the link is up that it will stay up, if you fail to keep up the amount of work necessary without reasonable cause, the link will then be taken down.

Site Creation

This site will be the central location for the new Blender 3D game creation. Currently the name was under the assumed name of “Nystic Racing”, but has been changed to “Blender Racing (title subject to change” until a more suiting name can be chosen. Currently we are in the need of modelers, those who contribute will be able to make a cart/character for the game and can chose the name of the character. (The name would preferable be your most common online name, unless you’d rather not disclose that information.) Updates should be common on this site.
